Use the Green & White Trailblazers along the Seaway Trail to guide you on your journey from West Springfield, PA on Lake Erie to Rooseveltown, NY on the St. Lawrence River. Each marker features footprints and a wave reminding you that the route parallels our freshwater shoreline.

Seaway Trail Visitor Information Kiosk featuring regional and local maps. Interpretive panels that “tell a story of that specific site” including lighthouses, historic, natural and recreational places to visit. These are located conveniently along the Trail; in communities, at parks and rest areas along your way.
Snowmobile Picture

Discovery Center Sketch
The Seaway Trail Discovery Center is the place to learn all about the region and the “America’s Byways” program. The historic limestone building in Sackets Harbor, NY, houses interactive exhibits on the War of 1812, lighthouses, influential people, agriculture, architecture, natural history and recreation.

Dive the Seaway Trail
Seaway Trail, Inc., and New York Sea Grant are developing a new tourism initiative "Diving the Seaway Trail." We encourage you to follow the "Dive the Seaway Trail" signs to enjoy some of the areas finest diving sites.
Online Lesson Plans
The Seaway Trail has developed Lesson Plans to assist teachers with educating students on the French & Indian War, the War of 1812, as well as history, nature and cultural aspects of New York State.
