Motorcycles Welcome at Seaway Trail Destinations and 2006 Events
If you travel by motorcycle, the Seaway Trail byway along the 518-mile freshwater shoreline of Lake Erie, the Niagara River, Lake Ontario, and St. Lawrence River offers great scenic touring opportunities and a lineup of motorcycle-friendly 2006 exhibits and events. A series of Trailblazer logo signs set about every six miles makes the route, one of America's Byways and a National Recreation Trail, easy to follow. The ride, through New York and Pennsylvania, is primarily two-lane with some limited parkway stretches. Outdoor interpretive panels found at roadside pull-offs and attractions provide fascinating details about the lighthouses, natural history, architecture, historic sites, and recreational opportunities of the region.
