Local Quilters' Prize-Winning Work to Benefit Local Organizations

The Town Barn Quilters of the Town of Hounsfield and Village of Sackets Harbor are selling tickets to win their “All Year ‘Round” quilt voted “Viewers’ Choice” second place honors at the recent 2010 Great Lakes Seaway Trail Quilt Show in Sackets Harbor, NY.
The bed-size quilt with blocks that include a snowman, pumpkins, moonlit owl, Celtic knotwork, gardens, and grapevines centered around a wagon wheel with yo-yo design elements, antique buttons and beading to accentuate the Seaway Trail Foundation-sponsored quilt show’s “Circles and Wheels” theme will be exhibited locally along the byway and raffled to support local organizations.
